Hi! I am Shannon, wife to John, and a homeschooling mother to four wonderful children. We live in the beautiful state of Colorado. While I love the scenery that surrounds me, I am a homebody at heart. You won’t find me hiking, camping, or doing much interaction with the “wild” as I call it. But you will always find me sewing, decorating, or creating in some way in my home. My husband gave me the nickname “Indoor Shannon” a couple years into marriage and I happily embrace it.
I taught myself how to sew in 2003. Over the years, my love for sewing has only grown stronger and I started this blog as a place to share what I am making and learning with others. I hope to show you that sewing is not only modern and fun, but anyone can pick up this amazing craft. Thank you for coming along on this DIY journey with me.
