I hope you were able to check out my recent full review on the newest free sewing pattern: The Mama Paige Piko by Made for Mermaids. If you haven’t had a chance to read my full review please check it out here. Today I want to show you a different look using the same free sewing pattern. Isn’t it great when you can get so many looks and options from one pattern and the best part is…it’s a free pattern!
Here I have featured the half sleeve dress length from the Mama Paige Piko Pattern. This is a great piece that can take you from summer through winter with layers and how you style it.
Fabric Used: This was a very lightweight knit from Hobby Lobby. I can’t remember if it was a rayon spandex for sure but I believe it was. Other great fabric choices for this dress can be found here.
The dress length hits above the knee for me and I am 5’4. If you prefer more length make sure you add to the pattern.
To take you into the cooler weather, the dress can easily transition to a top. I simply tied a knot in the side, threw on jeans and a vest for a new look.

Until next time, Happy Sewing
